Terms of Service - 3atariq

Welcome to 3atariq. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 3atariq mobile application ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What 3atariq is

3atariq is a matching platform that helps people in Lebanon find each other to deliver items or run errands along a traveller's route. 3atariq only connects users. We are not a delivery company, a courier, an employer, or a payment service. We are not a party to any agreement, arrangement, transaction, or exchange between users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use 3atariq. By using the app, you confirm that you are 18 or older and able to enter into these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information, for keeping your login secure, and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide truthful information, including a genuine profile photo where required. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe.

4. Payments and arrangements are between users

3atariq does not process, hold, or transfer any money. Any fee, price, payment, or other arrangement is agreed and carried out directly between users, outside the app and at their own risk. We have no involvement in and no responsibility for these arrangements, including pricing, delivery, the condition or legality of items, no-shows, or disputes.

5. User responsibility and conduct

You are solely responsible for your own decisions and interactions, including who you agree to meet, what you agree to carry or send, and how you handle payment. You agree not to:

  • use the app for anything illegal, or to transport illegal, dangerous, stolen, or prohibited items;
  • harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or harm other users;
  • post false, misleading, offensive, or infringing content;
  • attempt to bypass safety, moderation, or security features;
  • use the app to send money on behalf of others or to facilitate any illegal financial activity.

You meet and deal with other users at your own risk. Use common sense and caution when interacting with people you do not know.

6. Safety, blocking, and reporting

3atariq provides tools to block and report users and content, and maintains limited internal safety records of confirmed connections to support accountability. We may review reports and take action, including hiding content, restricting, or banning users. However, we do not and cannot guarantee the conduct, identity, reliability, or safety of any user. We do not perform background checks.

7. Content you post

You keep ownership of the content you post (profile details, posts, messages, reviews), but you grant us a licence to host, display, and use it as needed to operate the app. You are responsible for your content and must have the right to share it. Reviews must be honest and based on a real interaction.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that matches, deliveries, or arrangements will be successful or safe. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 3atariq and its operators are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, theft, dispute, or harm arising from your use of the app, your interactions or arrangements with other users, the conduct of any user, or any item delivered or exchanged. The app is a tool for connecting people; what users do with that connection is their own responsibility.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect users, the public, or the app.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and any disputes are subject to the competent courts of Lebanon.
